Simulation

BESTECH backs its clients' visions with the most accurate discrete event simulation and 3D animation tool available. Using Automod® by Autosimulations Inc., BESTECH has the ability to build and simulate its clients' designs and facilities before they are actually built.
If you would like to see your designs in the virtual world before you make costly changes in the real world, then contact us today.
With the help of this invaluable tool, we will:
- determine the optimal equipment configuration
- make decisions about how much equipment to buy
- troubleshoot an existing system
- identify bottlenecks in the your operation
- train on system operations
- communicate changes in the design
- test equipment controls prior to installation

BESTECH's Modelling Methodology
Every simulation project we tackle is well planned. We also keep the client informed of our progress throughout the duration of the project. At BESTECH we divide each simulation project into six important steps.
Step 1 - Project Launch Meeting
At the project launch meeting, BESTECH will meet with the client to discuss expectations, to determine what pertinent information/tools will be required to complete the task, as well as develop a time frame for the project. A modelling strategy will also be established at that time.
Step 2 - Project Scope and Software Requirement Specification
If necessary or where requested by the client, BESTECH will prepare a detailed project scope document. In addition, a software requirement specification (SRS) document is produced with every simulation project tackled by BESTECH. This document is based on the data collected and on information obtained upon discussions with the client. The SRS is used to establish the model's objectives, assumptions and system descriptions and, when required, the client's user interface.
Step 3 - Initial Model and Testing
An initial model is built which will contain all of the elements required for the simulation study. (See steps 1 and 2.)
Step 4 - Model Verification and Model Validation
This model is verified for its completeness and, whenever possible, is validated against data supplied by the client. Modifications are then added to comply with the parameters of the study.
Step 5 - Experimentation
The initial model then becomes the launching point of the simulation study which we will carry out for you and will be used to find the optimum solution for your simulation problem.
Step 6 - Final report and presentation
After consultation with the client BESTECH will produce a final report that describes the entire process. A video presentation of your model is available upon request. Also, a compiled version of the model may be produced (this requires the purchase of a runtime license) together with a customized user interface.
