Software Developer/Analyst

The successful candidates will act as technical team lead on product and service development initiatives. He/She will analyze, code, implement, and test a variety of applications for BESTECH and its clients in conjunction with the rest of the development team.

Strong analysis and design skills are a must. The ability to work independently with business users to determine requirements and focus on business process improvements is vital.

Skill Set and Educational Requirements:

1. 5+ years experience of full software development life-cycle
2. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
3. Extensive knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
4. Experience in requirements gathering, experience in designing and developing multi-tiered business applications
5. Strong Object Oriented design and programming skills
6. Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain
7. Possess a high degree of initiative and commitment
8. Ability to plan, prioritize and effectively manage tasks to achieve objectives
9. Experience with RDBMS, MS SQL Server, Oracle, VB.NET, C#, Visual Studio .NET
10. Knowledge of mining related processes a definite asset
11. Proficient communicator with strong collaborative design skills
