Job summary
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our workforce by proactively sourcing, engaging, and recruiting top talent. This role goes beyond traditional recruitment by focusing on long-term relationship building with potential candidates and leveraging innovative recruitment marketing techniques. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to promote our employer brand and create a seamless candidate experience. With a strong focus on data and analytics, you’ll ensure our recruitment strategies are efficient and aligned with business goals. Your key accountabilities
- Identify and build relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a strong talent pipeline is in place for future opportunities.
- Represent and act as a brand ambassador for BESTECH at industry events, including career fairs.
- Continuously nurture and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for key roles, keeping them engaged and informed about upcoming opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the company’s employer brand, positioning BESTECH as a top employer and attracting high-quality talent.
- Utilize digital marketing strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and other online platforms, to engage with passive candidates and drive awareness of open roles.
- Monitor and track key recruitment KPIs such as time to hire, cost per hire, and candidate quality to ensure an efficient and data-driven recruitment process. Make recommendations for improvements based on analytics.
Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Human Resources, business, or related experience.
- A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or human resources.
- Experience in agency recruitment a strong asset.
- Experience in mining or heavy industry a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and candidate engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Experience tracking recruitment metrics and using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
This role would ideally be onsite at our Sudbury location but are open to fully remote. Preferably based out of Ontario.
Type or Salary Range
$65,000 to $85,000
