Glencore Sudbury INO required upgrading their existing sample analyzer. BESTECH enhanced the mill's assay analysis capabilities by integrating the Outotec Courier on-stream analyzer (OSA) and upgrading to the Outotec Courier 6iSL Analyzer.
SCOPE
BESTECH installed 19 inline sample points throughout the mill to draw samples automatically from the process flow, enabling continuous real-time assay analysis without disrupting operations.
In addition to hardware installation, BESTECH developed training documentation and conducted training sessions for the mill’s personnel on sampling techniques and analyzer system management.
OUTCOME
The integration of the Outotec Courier 6iSL Analyzer significantly improved operational efficiency by providing real-time, accurate assay results, enabling informed decision-making, optimized extraction processes, and better production outcomes. The training ensured staff effectively utilized the new system, contributing to the smooth operation and maximized potential of the mill’s analytic capabilities.
