Rubicon Minerals required engineering for their gold mill project. BESTECH was engaged to transport ore from the headframe to the new mill, incorporating processing circuits such as grinding, thickening, carbon-in-leach, elution, refining, and a paste backfill plant.
SCOPE
The project involved collaboration with multiple engineering firms on a rapid design and construction timeline. BESTECH managed project activities, coordinated design, and developed site plans. To increase capacity, modifications were made to hoist houses and headframes, along with plans for reinforced concrete storage bins and feeders.
OUTCOME
The project enhanced the mill’s processing capabilities and infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with safety and environmental standards. The use of 3D modeling minimized construction delays and cost overruns, highlighting BESTECH’s commitment to engineering excellence.
