Sudbury Lime
Sudbury Lime initiated BESTECH’s engineering support for a new Lime Plant project that had been delivered by another firm in components but lacked comprehensive engineering for the construction phase.
BESTECH provided expertise in reviewing and planning the necessary infrastructure to bridge the initial gaps in the project’s engineering requirements.
SCOPE
BESTECH was responsible for reviewing the system requirements and delivering an Issued for Construction (IFC) package that would enable the client to proceed with the construction efficiently. This involved a detailed assessment of the cabling requirements based on the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), documentation of these connections, and evaluation of the facility’s layout and existing cable tray infrastructure.
OUTCOME
BESTECH’s strategic approach to cable management ensured that the new installations would be efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with safety standards. As a result, Sudbury Lime could proceed with constructing the Plant without delays, ensuring the project stayed on track and within budget.
