SCOPE
BESTECH was tasked with the engineering design and drawing preparation for electrical, automation, and communications systems, specifically for the Totten Mine. The process included a thorough review by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) to ensure compliance and safety standards were met. Additionally, BESTECH was responsible for the completion of the construction packages.
OUTCOME
The project culminated in the development of a standardized document that delineated the protocols and guidelines for underground wireless installations at Vale’s mining operations. This standards document was successfully implemented across Vale’s Sudbury operations, enhancing consistency and efficiency.
